KeraWax 4174 Hard Rapeseed (Pillar & Mould)
Manufactured in the UK by Kerax, KeraWax 4174 is a premium wax blend specifically developed for the production of professional pillar candles. It is suitable for further blending with fragrances and oil-soluble dyestuffs and requires no additional additives. This wax is known for its outstanding stability and offers an extra glossy finish, particularly when poured into pre-heated moulds.

Technical Specifications & Usage:
Melting Point: 68 °C
Fragrance Load: Compatible with most fragrances at levels of 8–12%
Mould Release: Self-releasing properties.

Heating Instructions: Heat to 85 °C for standard use, or 90 °C when using solid dyes to ensure full dissolution.
Pouring: For the best surface finish, perform the pour at 75–80 °C.
Curing: For best results, allow candles to sit undisturbed for 48 hours before test burning.

For hard to release moulds, try our silicone oil.
